Tammy Hess, a native to the Eastern Panhandle, began her journey in the real estate industry more than 20 years ago. She started as a small business owner providing landscaping, construction, & cleaning services while serving her community as a firefighter & emergency medical technician. After reviving her love of photography, Tammy started her photography business & shifted her focus to real estate imagery & marketing in late 2014. This experience & network building led her to pursue her real estate license in 2019.Tammy prides herself on using the knowledge she has gained over the years to educate clients, not only in the buying & selling process but also in the maintenance & home safety aspects of being a homeowner. She stands firm on her belief that continuing education is essential in any field and has been quoted as saying, "If you stop learning, you stop living."
This is evident in her completion of many designations & certifications to include Graduate, REALTOR® Institute, Accredited Buyer's Representative, Real Estate Negotiation Expert, Military Relocation Professional, & Short Sales & Foreclosure Resource to name a few. By taking part in the learning opportunity of the WVAR Leadership Academy in 2022, Tammy hopes to one day teach & mentor other agents throughout the region & state. In her spare time, Tammy enjoys spending time with her fiancé, indulging in her obsession with all things coffee, photographing concerts, participating in 5k events, supporting her children's school involvement, and serving her community.
